Hi, I’m Suzie!
I’m a Sydney-based marriage celebrant and the heart behind The Feel Good Wedding Co. I not only create wedding ceremonies that feel personal, engaging, and genuinely good to be part of. But I help you along the way to have the best experience possible. Come wedding day I want you feeling relaxed, confident, excited and genuinely present to enjoy your big day!

I genuinely love the ceremony
I’ve always been drawn to the ceremony part of a wedding day, the words, the emotion, the moment where everything slows down and feels real.
While some people treat it like a formality before the party, I see it as the emotional centre of the day. When it’s done well, it sets the tone for everything that follows. So I say, let’s have fun with it. You may not remember what is said years from now but you will remember what it felt like and that is… amazing.
For a long time, I assumed becoming a celebrant was something you did later in life. Turns out, absolutely not. Once I realised I could do this now, I trained, became an authorised marriage celebrant, and it felt like a very clear YES, like everything I’d done before suddenly made sense.
My background (and why it helps your wedding day)
I’ve never had just one calling – I build things by bringing skills together.
I’ve run my own personal training business since 2008, working with hundreds of clients (including many brides). I know how to read people, manage nerves, and keep things moving without pressure. Not to mention the physical benefits!
Before that, I co-ran a theatre-in-education company – writing, performing and teaching – which explains my love of storytelling and speaking to a room with ease.
I’ve also authored a book helping brides prepare for their wedding day, because clarity and confidence are kind of my thing.
All of this shapes how I work as a celebrant: Clear structure, intentional words, engaging delivery, and a calmgrounding presence.

A little about me, Non-business-y
Outside of weddings, I share life with my husband Mark, our gorgeous daughter, and our very ‘enthusiastic’ dog, Marley. I am unapologetically a crazy dog lady, and I fully support dogs being part of wedding ceremonies!
I love movies, planning gatherings, spending time outdoors, and I have a long-standing obsession with the show Grand Designs. We’re often renovating, exploring new places, or doing what should be a quick trip to Bunnings that turns into a full afternoon.
